In this sleek luxury rental, we were tasked with transforming a blank, white-box space into a functional home that balances modern minimalism with personality.
The panoramic views of the Chicago skyline play a starring role in the design, acting as a dramatic backdrop for the clean, understated interiors.
Our design philosophy guided the transformation: we kept the shapes simple and the layout open, focusing on functionality while adding moments of visual interest.
A terracotta accent wall anchors the TV area, infusing warmth and grounding the space without overwhelming it. A timeless Eames lounge chair sits comfortably across from the sectional, creating an intimate conversation nook.
The centerpiece is a striking Calacatta Viola marble coffee table, its bold veining adding texture and depth while maintaining a refined silhouette. Playful, yet practical poufs bring versatility – perfect for additional seating or an unexpected pop of design.
The overall palette remains calm and neutral, allowing the architecture and views to shine, while the thoughtful furnishings bring the warmth and character the space needed.
The result is a thoughtfully curated space. Every piece has a purpose, enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of the home.
